Hallo zusammen,
Das Wintersemester 2025/26 hat gestartet und somit sind wir auch alle wieder in der Vorlesungszeit angekommen. Dementsprechend ist sowohl im Mail-Postfach als auch im Büro wieder mehr los.
Angefangen hat es bei der Erstiwoche vom 13. Oktober bis zum 17. Oktober, auf der am Montag StuPa und AStA zusammen einen Stand vor dem Forum hatten. Dort haben wir Flaschen und Flyer verteilt, alle mit Süßigkeiten versorgt und Buttons erstellt. Wir wollten bei den Erstis (und bei allen anderen) möglichst viel Aufmerksamkeit auf die Hochschulpolitik lenken, sodass das Interesse an Partizipation steigt.
Nebenbei habe ich (Clara) im Oktober den ersten Quartalsbericht für das Haushaltsjahr 2025 geschrieben. Nach Versäumnissen aus der letzten Amtszeit musste ich einige Zahlen nacharbeiten, habe dies jedoch in einigen Nachtschichten erfolgreich erledigt und konnte aus den Zahlen einen Bericht schreiben. Dieser wurde in der Sitzung des Haushaltsausschusses am 31.10. besprochen und befürwortet. Sobald das StuPa diesen beschließt, wird er hochschulöffentlich gemacht und für alle einsehbar im Learnweb hochgeladen.
Auf der angesprochenen Sitzung haben wir außerdem den anwesenden StuPa- und Asta-Mitgliedern allgemeine Infos mitgeteilt und zwei Nachtragshaushalte als Beschlussempfehlungen dem StuPa entsendet. Einer bezieht sich noch auf das letzte Haushaltsjahr und musste noch richtiggestellt werden, der andere bezieht sich auf dieses Haushaltsjahr.
Solltet ihr Teil einer Fachschaftsvertretung oder Initiative sein, habt ihr in den vergangenen Woche bestimmt (hoffentlich!) eine Mail von Paul und mir erhalten. Diese habe ich im vergangenen Monat bereits vorbereitet. Sie enthält Informationen für FSVs und Inis, außerdem zwei Blanco-Mitgliederlisten. Ich habe mit dieser Infomail bezweckt, den FSVs und Inis ihre Rechte und Pflichten offenzulegen, außerdem die Einreichung einer Mitgliederliste zu vereinfachen. Diese soll in Zukunft zu jedem Semesterstart herumgeschickt werden, damit alle die neuesten Informationen haben und die Kommunikation garantiert werden kann.
Paul war viel damit beschäftigt, unsere Etatübersicht mit den neusten Studierendenzahlen zu überarbeiten. Dies ist immer ein sehr zeitaufwendiges Unterfangen, da es viel Rechnerei bedarf. Außerdem hat er sich um die Mails und die eingereichten Anträge gekümmert. Er war auf StuPa- und AStA-Sitzungen, um die nötigen Informationen aus finanzieller Sicht bereitzustellen und er arbeitet gerade an der Umsetzung der Gehalts- und Stundenerhöhung für die Verwaltungsfachangestellte des AStAs.
Wie ihr seht, ist einiges los und wir arbeiten auf Hochtouren, um allen Antragen und Anträgen zeitnah gerecht zu werden. Trotzdem müssen wir uns auch immer wieder daran erinnern: Dies ist ein Ehrenamt neben unserem Hauptstudium, welches jederzeit im Fokus stehen sollte.
Im nächsten Monat bin ich (Clara) drei Wochen im Urlaub (schon wieder viel zu viel Uni gehabt hihi), Paul wird überwiegend allein arbeiten, daher kann es zu Verzögerungen kommen. Trotzdem werde ich mir einige Unterlagen mitnehmen, damit der zweite Quartalsbericht nicht ganz so lange auf sich warten lässt, wie der erste.

Hey everybody,
The Wintersemester 2025/26 has started, and we all arrived back in everyday uni life. So, there is more going on in the office and the email inbox.
It started with the orientation week for the first-year students from October 13th to 17th, where we represented the AStA and the StuPa with a stand in front of the forum. There we gave away drinking bottles, flyers and sweets for everybody to draw as much attention as possible to university politics among first-year students (and everyone else) in order to increase interest in participation.
Besides this I (Clara) worked on the quarterly report for the first quarter of the financial year 2025. From last year, there were a lot of figures missing so in many night shifts I had to rework those figures, which I did successfully and finally I was able to write the quarterly report. It was revised in the budged committee meeting (Haushaltsausschuss) on October 31st and then send to the StuPa for the needed resolution. As soon as the StuPa approves it, it will be made public within the university and uploaded to Learnweb for everyone to see.
At the meeting referred, Paul and I gave some important information to the AStA and StuPa members who were present. Furthermore, we talked about two supplementary budgets (Nachtragshaushalte) to change the budget plan, made at the beginning of the financial year. One of those is still for the last year in order to correct a mistake and the other one is for this year.
If you are part of a student representative (Fachschaften) or an initiative, you will (hopefully!) have received an email from Paul and me in the past week. I prepared this mail last month and it contains information and two blank membership lists. The purpose of this information email was to inform the student representatives and initiatives if their rights and obligations, as well as to simplify the submission of the membership lists. In future I am planning on sending this email out at the start of each semester so that everyone has the latest information and communication can be guaranteed.
Paul was busy with working on the new budget overview lists for the new semester. This always needs a lot of calculating and exact work, because we are filling in the latest student numbers to calculate the budget of every student representative. Also, he worked on financial requests and emails. He went to the StuPa and AStA meetings to provide the financial information needed and currently he is working on implementing the salary and hour increases for the administrative assistants at the AStA.
As you can see, we are pretty busy, and we are working a lot to deal with all applications and requests in a timely manner. Nevertheless, we must always remember that this is a voluntary position alongside our main studies, which should always remain our primary focus.
Next month, I (Clara) will be on holiday for three weeks (once again, I’ve had far too much university work, hehe), and Paul will be working mostly on his own, so there may be some delays. Nevertheless, I will take some documents with me so that the second quarterly report won’t take quite as long as the first one did.
