wir freuen uns, das AStA-Referat Empowerment BIPoC für die Amtszeit 2025//26 ausschreiben zu dürfen. Die Amtzeit beginnt zum Zeitpunkt der Wahl. Wenn ihr Lust habt, euch ehrenamtlich zu engagieren oder etwas an den hochschulpolitischen- und universitären Strukturen verändern oder verbessern wollt, dann bewerbt euch jetzt!
Wie auch bei den anderen AStA-Referaten erhält auch dieses eine Aufwandsentschädigung von 250€ monatlich.

Like the other Departments there is a reimbursement of 250€ each month.

Strukturpunktreferat – Empowerment BIPoC
Ziele des Referats:
Das Referat Empowerment BIPoC setzt sich für den Abbau von Rassismus und Diskriminierung an der Universität Hildesheim ein. Es setzt sich gezielt für die Sichtbarmachung von rassistischen Strukturen ein und schafft Räume, in denen von Rassismus betroffene Studierende ihre Erfahrungen teilen, sich vernetzen und
gegenseitig stärken können. Ziel ist es, die Selbstbestimmung und Handlungsmacht der Betroffenen zu fördern und ihre Perspektiven aktiv in den Hochschulalltag einzubringen.
Anforderungen:
• Konzeptionelle und koordinatorische Fähigkeiten
• Fachwissen über Antirassistische Arbeit
• Kommunikationsstärke und Sensibilität für Diversität
• Wünschenswerte Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit und für marginalisierte Gruppen
Aufgabenbeschreibung:
• Erstkontakt, Unterstützung und Interessenvertretung von BIPoC Studierenden, die durch universitäre Strukturen und Mitglieder (rassistisch) diskriminiert werden
• Schaffung und Organisation regelmäßiger Schutzräume und Empowerment-Projekte für BIPoC Studierende
• Initiierung, Organisation und Durchführung von eigenen Projekten
• Erstellung und Pflege von Informationsmaterial (zum Schwerpunkt Empowerment und Safer Spaces)
• Vernetzung und Kooperation mit relevanten Hochschulgruppen wie der BIPoC-Hochschulgruppe Hildesheim und der Muslimischen Hochschulgruppe
Sonstiges:
• Mitglied der Ethikkommission des Studierendenparlaments

Department – Empowerment BIPoC
Objectives of the Department:
The objective of the Department of BIPoC* Empowerment is to reduce racism and discrimination at the University Hildesheim. It specifically advocates for them visualization of racist structures and creates spaces in which Students affected by racism share their experiences, network and can strengthen each other. The aim is to increase the self-determination and power of action. To support those affected and to actively incorporate their perspectives into everyday university life.
Requirements:
• Conceptual and coordination skills
• Expertise in anti-racist work
• Strong communication skills and sensitivity to diversity
• Preferably, experience in working with and for marginalized groups
Responsibilities:
• Serving as first point contact, providing support and advocacy for BIPoC students who experience (racist) discrimination within university structures or by university members
• Creating and organizing regular safer spaces and empowerment initiatives for BIPoC students
• Initiation, organization and implemention of indipendent projects
• Creation and maintenance of information material (focused on empowerment and safer spaces)
• Networking and cooperation with relevant university groups, such as BIPoC-Student Group and the Muslim Student Group at the University Hildesheim
